What route does the Oxford Tube take?

The core Oxford Tube service operates 7 days a week between Oxford, Gloucester Green and London, Victoria with some weekday trips also originating in Carterton, Witney and Eynsham and some stopping at High Wycombe too.

Two express routes also run Monday to Friday in each direction, after Thornhill these journeys go direct to Baker Street before continuing to Marble Arch and Victoria.

Where else does the Oxford tube serve?

Some weekday journeys also serve Carterton, Minster Lovell junction of A40, Witney, Eynsham, Cassington and Oxford North (BMW garage)

Several weekday trips also stop at High Wycombe coach station, just off the M40

Do I need to board from the same stop I got off at?

Not at all, the Oxford Tube is super flexible

For example, If you get off the coach at Notting Hill Gate, you can make your return journey from the stop at Victoria

You cannot however, reboard to continue the journey in the same direction

I’ve missed the trip that continues to Carterton/Witney – what should I do?

Don’t worry, board any departure back to Oxford and let the driver know you intend to continue your journey to Witney or Carterton. They’ll issue you with a ticket to give to the bus driver which will permit you to travel free of charge

How do I know if there are any disruptions to services?

Any known service disruptions are uploaded to our website in advance– you can find these under ‘Service updates’

These disruptions will also show when you plan your journey on the website or app

For any on the day changes to the schedule, you can also track the location of your coach on our live interactive map on the Oxford Tube app. Just click on the service you need and see the scheduled or expected times.
